1) I’m taking a half day at work today because Robin and Jenn are coming to town, and we’ll be getting together with Aaron for some good times. You remember Robin, Jenn, and Aaron right? I’m so excited!
2) So I was on the subway yesterday morning on my way to work, standing in front of a gentleman who kept teetering on the edge of sleep. He had a small black plastic bag in his hand. When he finally passed out, he lost his grip on the plastic bag and the contents spilt out and fell to my feet. And by “contents” I mean the porno DVD he must have just purchased. I wish I got a look at the title, but I was too distracted by the enormous breasts.
3) Now that I’m almost done with the original crew “Star Trek” movies, I think I’m going to move on to the James Bond movies, since I’ve only ever seen two of the Pierce Brosnan ones, and the Daniel Craig one. So please recommend which ones I should purchase in the comments section. I don’t want to buy the boxed sets that came out if some of the movies suck. I already bought “Goldfinger” because that one’s supposed to be the best, but I haven’t watched it yet. Which other ones should I get?
4) “Lost” has been pretty good these past two weeks. Who would have thought the best episodes of the season would be Claire and Sayid flashbacks? Not me.
5) Jamie Bamber (AKA: Apollo from “Battlestar Galactica”) is going to be at the I-CON Science Fiction Festival, like 20 minutes from my house. Should I be completely ridiculous and go?
6) Have a Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Ooo! Diamonds Are Forever — mostly just because the song is so bitter.
It’s a good movie, too. In fact, I think that’s the one that has Pussy Galore in it. Let me check for you. Please hold….
…
Nope, that one has Plenty O’Toole. Goldfinger has Pussy Galore. Did I just type that?
I also liked Live And Let Die a lot, too.
I agree–Diamonds are Forever is a good one. It’s not Pussy Galore in that one, it’s Jill St. John as Tiffany Case. Very campy, in Las Vegas, and even gay hit men! Live and Let Die is a good one too. Damn, Howard!
Don’t diss the TNG, Craig. The recent movies are good too!
Go to the Sci Fi Festival, it’ll make me feel better about myself. I have been signed up to go to “Celebration 4″ for Star Wars here in LA. Come to think of it, YOU should go with my boyfriend!
Wow, I am a G-E-E-K.
Sorry. Not a Bond kind of guy. Can’t help.
Not a Sayid fan? I think he’s underused. But, yes, this last episode made me remember why I fell in love with the show in the first place. I hope they can keep this up.
If you DON’T go see Jamie Bamber, I will denounce you as a fool and mock you openly. Yes, I said openly!
Goldfinger is THE definative Bond movie, but since you already have that one, you need other recommendations. Diamonds Are Forever is pretty good too. From Russia With Love isn’t too bad either. And even though I’m loathe to recommend ANY Roger Moore Bond films, I did actually enjoy For Your Eyes Only.
Pussy Galore, Plenty O’toole, Tiffany Case…hehehe…don’t forget Holly Goodhead, Honey Ryder, Xenia Onatopp, and Kissy Suzuki.
God, i am such a geek….
Yeah, so I finally saw Casino Royale Tuesday (I say finally because I’ve wanted to see it since it hit the theaters but my friends suck and wouldn’t go with me) and it fucking rocked. Easily my favorite Bond film yet. All I can recommend is the new one and the Sean Connery ones, and then to stay away from the Brosnan ones. Nothing against Brosnan, it’s not his fault, but those films sucked ass. (not that theres anything wrong with people who suck ass)
Live and Let Die was great (the movie and the song)
