Puntabulous Catches Up on Tags

Okay fine! It’s about time I caught up on some of the tags I’ve gotten lately.

First Polt (whose name is like combining “Pole” and “Vault” which could be misinterpreted as a euphemism for gay sex) from Polt’s Palace tagged me. The rules are that if, and only if, you get tagged, write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think.

1. Jonathan over at Angel City’s Devil makes me think he’s really handsome.

2. Ryan over at 14 Giants makes me think I’m super jealous of his blog layout, especially the “asides”.

3. Spooky over at Spooky’s Blog makes me think about why my MSPaint drawings never come out as good as their’s.

4. Crunchy Carpets makes me think I need a better tagline.

5. Mommy Needs a Martini makes me think I need to hang out with her and try a martini one of these days.

Then Czachi (whose name makes me want to shout “Yahtzee!”) from The Columnist Manifesto tagged me. The rules are that once you have been tagged, you have to write a blog with six weird, unique, or unusual facts or habits about yourself. At the end, you need to choose six people to be tagged and list their names and why you chose them.

1. I was a geology major in college. I wanted to be a paleontologist when I grew up. I bet you can figure out how that one turned out.

2. Even though I’m all over Star Wars like pale on me, Jurassic Park is my favorite movie of all time.

3. My favorite Disney movie is Tarzan and I would love it if someone would take me to see the Broadway show on a date.

4. I prefer saying “hahaha” rather than “lol” during online conversations. If I ever type “lol” when I’m talking to you online, I’m just being lazy, and chances are I didn’t really laugh out loud. Sorry.

5. I scored 20 points less than my target SAT score (so frustratingly close!) but didn’t feel like taking it again.

6. In high school I was on the math team. You heard me correctly, I was a mathlete. We went to other schools and competed, you know, like, mathematically. At least they fed us chocolate milk and doughnuts at the “meets” because that was the only (slightly) cool thing about it.

And finally Shaygo (if that is her real name!) from Crosswords and Cupcakes tagged me. The rules are that you have to post 8 random facts about yourself. Then you tag eight other bloggers and notify them that they have been tagged.

Since this topic is so close to the last one, I’ll make these body-centric to differentiate:

1. I’m 6’3″. I wish I were 5’11″.

2. I weight 170 lbs. I’d be happy with this weight if I were 5’11″.

3. I have size 12 feet. One time I even had a pair of size 13 shoes that fit perfectly! It was probably a factory mistake, but it still made me feel like a man.

4. I wear medium sized shirts.

5. My mom hates that I wear medium sized shirts and always complains that they’re too short.

6. My ring fingers are considerably longer than my index fingers.

7. Boxers.

8. Women who shake my hand often comment on how soft they are.
