BERMUDA

Um, how come nobody told me how far north Bermuda was? Instead, I need to be at work when someone mentions going to Bermuda, and I say “Oh cool! I’ve never been there, or any of the islands near the Caribbean for that matter!” And they’re all like: “Duh Craig! It’s not that far south! You’re such a moron!” And I’m all like: “No, I knew that!” And then I scurry back to my office and find the following map:

Hello! People need to tell me these things before I embarrass myself in public! My brain is like the freaking Bermuda Triangle. Shit gets lost in there!

I personally believe that you did not when where Bermuda is because a lot of people in our nation don’t have maps, such as that of South Africa and The Iraq.

It all depends on which projection you use for your map. For example, in an azimuthal projection centered on Cairo — Bermuda would definitely appear closer to the Carribean than the mainland.

    Okay, enough geekiness for today!
