I’ve never been there, or any of the islands near the Caribbean for that matter!” And they’re all like: “Duh Craig! It’s not that far south! You’re such a moron!” And I’m all like: “No, I knew that!” And then I scurry back to my office and find the following map:

I personally believe that you did not when where Bermuda is because a lot of people in our nation don’t have maps, such as that of South Africa and The Iraq.
It all depends on which projection you use for your map. For example, in an azimuthal projection centered on Cairo — Bermuda would definitely appear closer to the Carribean than the mainland.
