Shows I wish I watched last season: Brothers and Sisters. I just started watching this season. How come I didn’t watch last season? Everyone told me how wonderful it was, but I didn’t listen. I had watched the series premiere, and it was kinda meh. But now I love it.
Actor I hate the most in a show I like: Rob Lowe.
Unsung Hero: Mrs. McCluskey.
Suckiest Heroes: Maya and Alejandro.
Suckiest Non-Hero: Mohinder.
Most awesome Bad Hero who I hope will turn into a Good Hero: Elle. But can a person who shoots lightning from their hands be good? It’s like a little kid who can communicate with animals being bad. It just doesn’t happen.
Person I wish I was: Elisa from Project Runway. The world inside her head is such an amazing place. The world out here sucks.
Best new show: Pushing Daisies.
Show that slightly eases the pain of no longer having Alias: Chuck.
Show I think I’d like but don’t watch: Samantha Who? The commercials make me happy and I like Christina Applegate. I don’t know why, but I like her. Has anyone seen it? Thoughts?
People I’d like to put in my pocket: Survivor’s Todd. No, that’s not a sexual innuendo. I just think it would be nice to have a little sassy gay man in my front pocket.
Favorite background character of The Office: Meredith.
Character I miss the most: Addison Montgomery. Yes, I could watch her on Private Practice, but in order to do so I’d have to watch Private Practice.
Most shocking previous role: Lexie Grey was the girl from Not Another Teen Movie. Don’t believe me? Check THIS (NSFW) out.
Best musical number: Kristin Chenoweth’s “Hopelessly Devoted” from Pushing Daisies.
Old shows I gave up on: Amazing Race, America’s Next Top Model.
Shows I like but don’t make too much effort to watch, but probably will now that I have DVR: Family Guy, 30 Rock, Conan O’Brien.
Most deserving of an Emmy nomination but will never get one: Kristin Chenoweth.
Show I’m most excited about returning in the spring: Battlestar Galactica.
Show I might not even watch when it returns in the spring: 24.
Show I will watch when it returns in the spring but will frustrate me to no end: Lost.
New shows I gave up on: Dirty Sexy Money, Private Practice, Gossip Girl.
New shows I’m this close to giving up on: Bionic Woman.
Show that better not be as big of a let down as Bionic Woman: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

I’ve been way too busy to watch like any of these shows. And it sucks because everyone talks about how good Brothers and Sisters is and I havent even seen an episode yet. And Pushing Daisy’s, I’ve always meant to watch it because of the amount of broadway guest stars, but I haven’t seen it yet! What is my problem!?
I did like your Elisa statement – she must have such an amazing outlook on everything. She’s crazy.

Samantha Who is pretty funny. I love CA too, and she’s great in it. Sookie is hilarious in it.
I love Chuck too, for the same reasons. It’s so absurd, but so funny. Pushing Daisies is still growing on me, I like it enough to keep watching.
How can you not be watching Gossip Girl! Such a guilty pleasure. I’m finding DSM boring lately…

Samantha Who is fantabulous! It is the only half hour sitcom that I watch..and the first one I have watched in years (since Will and Grace, Friends).
My favorite shows are on tonight…special..TNT. New episode of Amazing Grace and the BEST SHOW EVER…a 2 hour holiday special of The Closer. I have such a girl crush on Kyra Sedgwick!!
I never watch shows that people tell me too..I feel like a sell out, I want to find them and love them on my own.
PS..I gave up on Survivor..but am STILL lovin Amazing Race!

Samantha Who? is worth giving a shot, I think–this coming from someone who had all but given up on all 30-minute sitcoms. It’s a little over-acted at times, but generally cute and sometimes even smart. (Unfortunately, though, I think Sookie comes off as kind of pathetic in it.)
As for Bionic Woman, I can’t wrap my head around the fact that anyone has continued to stick with it this long. Any scene sans-Katie is just unwatchable.
Did you watch Tin Man on SciFi last night? I was hoping you’d have some thoughts….

Samantha Who? is totally worth watching. I do agree with Denise, Melissa McCarthy does come off as pathetic, but I think it’s necessary to contrast the other friend.
Bionic Woman sucks.
Private Practice makes me cry but I secretly only watch because I want Taye Diggs and Tim Daly kiss and then take turns having their way with Chris Lowell.
I love Pushing Daisies and Kristin Chenoweth, every show makes me happier and happier. I like that the show kind of reminds me of a cross between Dead Like Me and Amelie.
I’m boycotting the CW for dropping Gilmore Girls. I will never watch a CW show for the rest of my life. I swear!
I have also given up on Amazing Race and ANTM. You can only care *so* much about random dysfunctional people travelling the world and doing “cultural” things and Tyra is starting to get on my nerves. I think her five-head is now a six-head.

Technically you’re right, but Yoda kind of absorbs it a little before sending it back. Dooku just straight up deflects it after that. Yes, I popped in the DVD to confirm it. I’m cool like that.
I’d argue he can obviously manipulate it, stands to reason he could create it if he felt like it.

Brothers & Sisters is amazing. Simply amazing. You wish you were part of that family. PS – Season One is available via your favorite online video rental location and probably several public libraries. Rent it, watch it, love it.

You and I are in line in most cases here. Though I watched “Brothers and Sisters” from day one and have always loved it– even when it gets cheesy and silly. It’s gotten SOOO much better though. I just started watching “Pushing Daisies” and I really enjoy it. Kristin Chenowith is an ANGEL. I saw that “Hopelessly Devoted To You” scene and melted into a pile of goo. Seriously. I still am watching “Dirty Sexy Money” and “Private Practice” but I have a backlog of shows to watch. But my favorite shows are the most improved shows of the season: “Desperate Housewives” and “Grey’s Anatomy.” They both got MAJOR shots in the arm artistically, and the actors have never been better. And I’m sorry, Dana Delaney on “DH” is AWWWWWWWESOME. She MUST stay with the show after this season.

I thought the “Birdhouse in Your Soul” song was my favorite musical moment from “Pushing Daisies”. Highly enjoyable.
I also love “Battlestar Galactica”, and love the moment when Apollo drops the towel. Thank God for the slow motion button on my DVD player (and the zoom).

I had Samantha Who on my DVR for the longest time and then I saw the first episode and was hooked. I had to watch them all…it’s a really good show. Very cute and if you like Christina Applegate you will love this show.
I love Pushing Daisies as well. You have great taste in TV…but I can’t belive you gave up on Gossip Girl it’s a great show. It got way better after the first couple of shows. But I’ll forgive you because you’re totally cute

I agree with most of your TV choices… are you sure you don’t work in the business? Stopped watching 24 after season 2. Stopped watching grey’s/pp once addison and isaiah were gone. Stopped watching lost after season 1 (didn’t have time, and, well I got lost). LOVED Samantha Who. xtina applegate + Jean Smart = how could you not watch?
But I only watched the first episode because I don’t watch TV on mondays. Alas.
