Just like everyone else in the world, I’ve been obsessing over the Juno soundtrack lately. Here’s a really fun fan-made video for one of my favorite songs on the disc “Tree Hugger” by Kimya Dawson and Antsy Pants.

I just saw Juno about an hour ago. It was fantastic! And yes, the music was awesome.

Wait. The entire world is obsessing over the Juno soundtrack? Why didn’t I get the memo? WHY?!?!?!?!
I feel so left out and alone …
even though I *heart*ed Juno.

The French part that you requested…
And the jackalope said
I want to be a yeti
Flying in the night
And to get away from here
But the yeti said
I would like to be the Loch Ness Monster
so I can go into the sea
That is owned by all the sharks…

I saw Juno last night and promptly fell in love with the soundtrack, also. This is my 2nd favorite song, my 1st fav. is “Anyone Else But You” as performed by Ellen Page and Michael Cera, and my 3rd fav. is “Piazza, New York Catcher” by Belle and Sebastian because it’s like *the best* song by any indie pop group *ever* and it’s funny. The movie was great also, I heart Allison Janney and I have made Ellen Page new straight crush replacing the long running crush on Julia Stiles.

[...] It’s great, almost as good as the soundtrack to Garden State, but not quite there. See this for more of my thoughts on that. And watch this over at Puntabulous, cuz it’s [...]

Drew must be crazy if he thinks “Piazza, New York Catcher” by B&S is better than “Expectations” which is also on the soundtrack. I highly recommend Belle & Sebastian to anyone… preferrably their older stuff.
I also have a crush on Ellen Page… probably because she reminds me of a boy.

I’ve really been a big fan of the Moldy Peaches when they were around. So it was good to see their music highlighted in Juno.
Great movie.. the best that I’ve seen in 2007 I have to say. So glad that Ellen Page got an Oscar Nomination. Even if she is going against my beloved Cate.

Ok, GoKitty, after much consideration and obsessive listening to the soundtrack, “Expectations” is indeed better than “Piazza, New York Catcher.” I had never heard it before and I didn’t really hear it in the movie and I haven’t heard any Tigermilk before yesterday. Thank you for helping me open my eyes
