2. I’m glad a lot of people liked the Buffalo Chicken Dip recipe from yesterday! If anyone makes it, they should e-mail me a picture of their finished product and/or a picture of them enjoying it and I’ll post them on here. SIDENOTE
3. I finally got around to watching the Sci-Fi Channel’s miniseries Tin Man. It was okay. Nothing great. But I do love me some Zooey Deschanel! I still can’t get over the fact that the Monkey-Bats flew out of the witch’s boobs. Like, seriously? What’s my favorite miniseries, you ask? Merlin starring Sam Neill and Isabella Rossellini. Too bad the sequel Merlin’s Apprentice sucked total ass.
4. Lost starts again tonight! Razzle Dazzle! Fingers crossed that Locke is in his Season 1 and end of Season 3 mindframe and not his Season 2 (OMG THE HATCH!) mindframe.
5. I changed my blog header around a bit. I wanted to better capture the spirit of Puntabulous. Plus Natalie Portman, my wife, was giving me hell for not including her. I also wanted to put Super Viagra and Vagina Girl up there because spending FIVE SOLID HOURS on Sunday working on their last post reminded me that I love them so very much. I’d really love it if someone would make me Super Viagra and Vagina Girl stuffed animals. Wouldn’t that be awesome?
6. Seriously, what’s so bad about ice in white or blush wines? It’s not like a keep a bottle of wine in the fridge next to the chocolate donuts and Hershey’s strawberry syrup for easy access. A boy needs his wine chilled!
7. What’s with all the Project Runway reruns this season? That’s twice now I’ve been excited all day for a new episode and then BAM! rerun. I’m not the only one rooting for Sweet P to win, right? She’s one cool lady. And frankly, everyone else annoys me. I miss Elisa.

I know the Project Runway feeling! I was anxious all day too, and boom, nothing.
I do like Sweet P. I think Rami, though is freaking hot.
Ricky needs to go. As for who wins, ANYONE but Christian, and I’ll be happy. damn little yappy poodle boy….

Meh, Lost has “lost” its luster in season 3. Hopefully this season they can redeem themselves, even though they only have a handful of episodes to give us(stupid writer’s strike).
With Project Runway I do not really have a favorite person. almost everyone from the beginning of this season has been pretty blah. I absolutely hate Christian too but sadly he is probably the best designer there so I wouldn’t be surprised if he, Rami and that chick with no emotion(black curly hair, I forget her name)are the final three.

As for the TV reruns, I think the networks are trying to spread out new shows since a lot of them didn’t get all the scripts delivered in time for the writers’ strike. At least that’s why I’m telling myself I have to wait for a new episode of Terminator.

I like Sweet P but she is not likely to win. I definately see Rami, Jillian, and Christian in the finals.
I agree Ricky’s crying hat-fetish ass should have been gone LONG AGO. His denim dress wasnt bad though although I think Sweet P’s dress was way cuter.

I’m lost on Lost, and I got tired of Project Runway as fast as Janice Dickinson.
I just can’t wait for the next Terminator episode.

I’m sorry but I can’t email you a photo of the finished dip; I am not technologically advanced enough. I would have to steal a camera from work and they might frown upon that. But I will make the dip, just as soon as I take the printout from your blog to the store and try to match the pictures with the correct bottle sizes for the blue cheese dressing and hot sauce. So don’t be sad.
I love Zooey too. Another reason to put Big Touble on your Netflix list.
I’m not watching Project Runway anymore, but I’m still following some of the blogs for fun, like Project Rungay.
You’re so right about cold pink wines. Ice is necessary if you have an emergency and have to open a room-temp bottle. The rest of the world just doesn’t understand.

I would have like Tin Man better if they’d bothered to write an ending. Not the happy group show with the family all together feel-good crap… but weren’t there like two great big armies engaging in battle or on the verge of it just outside the walls about 15 minutes ago? Shouldn’t someone go talk to them? How hard would it have been to do the cliche “6 months later and show the Princess Leia handing out awards” scene?
And monkey boobs are awesome. I totally want to do a YouTube parody where they fly out of the witch’s lower back tattoo and other silly places young ladies think of putting tattoos. First I have to learn good quality digital character animation, so expect it in 5-8 years.

I totally forgot that LOST starts tonight and totally forgot to set my VCR (yes VCR, shut up). I’m so screwed.
White wine should always be kept in the fridge. You’ve no excuse. And strawberry syrup? ew.

White wine should be stored at 55-58degrees, far above the 38 - 42 degrees that most commercial and home fridges should be kept at. Storing it at too cold a temperature retards the aging process and results in a stilted wine. If you want it cold when served a little ice does no harm.

If you need to chill a bottle of wine quickly, put it in an ice water bath - think a pot of cold water with a tray of ice dumped into it - for about 15 minutes, it’s the quickest way to chill, and doesn’t make people roll their eyes at you for diluting you wine with ice.

Just went and voted for you. Love your site. The debates, I think, are my favorite–hope there’s a new one coming. I’m super freaky excited for Lost, but that’s b/c I don’t have any friends and I live in the country. I’d love it is Sweet P won, but the tears on the upcoming clips don’t look good. Not a fan of the 10-second delay Jillian. Weird. But not in a good way.

Tin Man was a little disappointing.
I predict Sweet P (a definite fav) Rami (who is a totall hot a55, until he started Sweet P bashing. Luckily we got to see them hugging in the last episode. I’d let him measure my inseam any time…) and Christian in the top 3. I do like Gillian, but she can’t manage time. Chris is a great deal of fun, but I don’t think they think he has it.

Hey Craig, Tin Man was ok…but kinda hoky..now have you read Wicked yet? ….I found that really good reading. I do watch Project Runway..can’t stand Rikki’s whining though!..and Sweet Pea is the name of my mother’s new puppy! lol..(look on my site to see puppy#1) and as far as Lost goes..I have never seen it…maybe I’ll check it out..I’m lost on your new layout! lol I think my screen isn’t wide enough! lol oh well..

Thank goodness john mentioned Isabella Rossellini! I was very distraught that NO ONE else commented about “Merlin” and how it’s (thank you!) the best mini-series ever to hit television. As if you weren’t awesome already, Craig, this has sealed the deal, in my book.
I’m hoping to get around to making the wing dip, but I’m gonna substitute ranch for the blue cheese, which makes me gag.
I voted for ya in the Bloggies because, if for no other reason, the picture of you and Felice is, like, totally one of my favorite things ever.
