I haven’t been able to catch any episodes this season and it’s really frustrating. I’m not home when they air, I don’t have (and can’t afford) TiVo, and for some reason my computer won’t play the episodes from Innertube on the ABC site either. Argh!

But that clip was pretty funny.

Oddly enough, I was meh last night too… and I think Desmond is dreamy (and, man, doesn’t he clean up all nice and purty with short hair and no beard?). I’m not sure why. This was one of the boldest episodes yet, in terms of introducing actual science fiction type elements. Maybe that’s why it was jarring. Up until now, stuff has just been weird and, the rational part of the brain might hope, explainable with logic. So to watch Daniel go all time-laser on a mouse was a little odd.

But I’m going to assume there were things in this episode that will be very important later on and that it wasn’t just a time filler (even when they thought they were doing 16 episodes, that doesn’t leave much room for time fillers). Next week looks pretty nifty.

I thought it was a pretty nifty episode, though I’m going to have to re-watch it because I was sobering up while watching it. :)

I actually do enjoy the character of Desmond, so it was my kind of episode, and I am intrigued with all the questions that were raised by this episode: including the continued importance of the Black Rock. I think I just really enjoy the actress who plays Penny, too. She’s just so dang expressive….

Desmond does clean up well though *rawr*

Yesterday’s episode bent me over and had its way with me.
Best episode of the season so far.

Normally when I watch Lost, I have the phone turned off…the laptop turned off…and all my attention is on the show. Last night failed to keep my attention. I found myself cleaning in the middle of the show.

The only part that kept me glued to the tv was the part at the auction and the ending which was just adorable. I’m a big sap and I was so happy that the phone didn’t go out until Penny got to say ‘I love you” back.

Evangeline Lilly did the Live Links commercial before Lost. Someone took it and tried to make it look like it was a part of Lost.

While Lost was also meh for me it also linked a few things together. First off the man who owns the Dharma group had a painting and a journal from the Priate ship that is at the middle of the island(where they get the dynomite)and Penelopes’s father now owns both of them.

This episode also showed us that time is different on the outside world compared to the island. For awhile now Lost has had trouble with bringing Walt’s character back because the actor had a growth spurt. It is onyl suppose to be 90 days on the island but Walt’s actor really grew up over the past three years. Now that Walt and Michael are coming back they can give this weird time travel crap as an excuse for Walt looking older now.

This also could have really answered one HUGE mystery on the island; what was the disease that was on the island? Remember the Hatch had “quarantine” written on the door so this could have been the disease people were catching on the island. they just didn’t realize that they didn’t get it on the island but got it on the way to the island.

I was never really a Lost nut but this season is really making me think about it much like BSG has always made me obsess over it :-)

I thought this episode was really good, because it did indirectly maybe confirm a theory. Maybe. You just never know. And I like Desmond, so I was trying to decide if he looks hotter as cleaned up army desmond or dirty hairy island desmond.

Alan Dale is a legend in the UK. He was in Neighbours for years. It’s so funny to see him in LOST and The OC now, when I remember him from my childhood as Jim Robinson. And he was in Torchwood the other day. He’s become a bit of a rent-a-git now. “Need an old man? Hire Alan Dale!”

I really liked this episode and wasn’t meh at all. It was really nice to see Desmond all cleaned up, definitely cute. And the ending was so adorable, I really hope we’re going to see a lot more of Penny, she’s such a good actress. And the time travel thing, it was about time they talked about this issue ! Really, I’m impressed with how good this season is compared to 2 and 3.

Yeah, I really wasn’t digging on last nights episode. It was nice to see more of the Widmore’s though. Have you read the book “Bad Twin”? It’s a sort of lost spin off about the Widmore clan and the Hanso Foundation. Sawyer reads it on the show (yet somehow never mentions to anyone else that it is about the people who started dharma) That whole thing at the auction house made me remember a bunch of the stuff in that book…
ps: willowy is the most perfect word to describe daniel.
