CLICK HERE and read all of Mike Lawson’s limericks from his blog What Some Would Call Lies. They make me so incredibly happy. You won’t regret it.
I’m thinking of challenging him to a debate, but in all rhymes! That could either be really fun or a complete disaster. Let’s see what he thinks.

Mike and Craig agreed to debate
The cutest Ewok they did rate
Mike chose Logray
Craig said “No way!”
Then it turned into a date

OK, you’re going to hate me.
I love the pictures and the cut-out illustrations he adds, but as a former poetry major, I find the rhyming scheme he uses inexact and often forced. The ideas are all clever, but when he has too many syllables in one line or the accent is on the wrong syllable, it makes me cringe.
Now I’M the dork.

Dave S – You are awesome
David – I don’t hate you. I just think you’re putting a wee bit too much thought into it.

The cut-out illustrations are awesome. I might have to steal that idea.

I tried to leave my comment in a rhyme as well, but I couldn’t think of anything witty to rhyme with Puntabulous OR Craiggers.
HUGS…

David #2….you can major in poetry?? What does one do with that degree?
Yeah, I’m no rhyme expert. And the rhymes are usually a bit contrived because I want them to fit the silly situation.
And Craig…I totally accept your challenge.

I think that would be an awesome debate!
