You wouldn’t believe the things I come across when I go through my old computer files. It’s like getting in a time machine, except I can step on all the damn butterflies I want. For example, take a look at this:
Like…say what? But then I remembered that I made it for THIS Guide to Surviving the Future post, but never used it. And the world made slightly more sense.

See, and I think if works great as a stand-alone.
What program do you use for these? I love them. How long does it take for you to make these?

I’m glad you like them! I use MSPaint and a steady hand. I don’t have one of those fancy tablet things so I just use my mouse.

I thought perhaps you were starting some “America’s Next Top Robot” type of post.

It is now official. “Girl don’t even” is my new stolen saying.
P.S. I don’t know if it’s just me, but when I go back to your “Puntabulous Welcomes Autumn!” post, I seem to see pictures that don’t match up to your commentary. However, it is funny seeing those pictures and trying to relate them back to the commentary provided. Well played Craig…well played… [If I’m on crack and made all this up, please disregard this and pretend it never happened, haha]

I am glad to see another MS paint user. I make faux stained glass windows, and design on MS Paint. While I enjoy photoshop and gimp for mischief, Paint is a darn good program.
When I got my computer, I had been drawing my pictures by hand for years. Within six months I was doing them on the computer, without downloading softwear or taking a class.

You may want to consider taking a look at Paint.NET ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paint.NET ). It is free and it supports layers, which make it much easier to do compositing. If you already have Power Point that might also be worth playing with. I used to make homemade cards for the people I cared about using Power Point. I loved the vector graphics features. I could construct reusable figures and group the main polygons. When I needed to make a new card I would grab my stock figure and customize it to look like my friend and even pose it as needed. It could get very detail oriented. I loved it!

I’m really really late on the upswing on this one, but that single frame all by itself works brilliantly.
You’re a damned funny guy.
Well, okay, I can’t say as to whether you’re actually *damned* — that’s really up to, y’know, the “Big Guy.” But you’re definitely funny.
And I guess it’s better to be funny than damned.
Or so I’ve heard.
