    OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!

    I’m in fucking geek heaven!

I have to give it a six out of ten because the first four or five weren’t very good. Things picked up with Colonel Tigh.

I liked how the actors spoke in their real accents.

    What? No Dean Stockwell?

David – Agreed. Chief was awful as usual. D’Anna was a bit of an overactor. Baltar’s was kinda lame. Sharon was cute! Then the rest were pretty funny.

I think Tigh had the funniest line, but Roslin and Starbuck had the best delivery.

The chief was not awful! Aaron Douglas can do no wrong. My computer is even sporting Chief Tyrol wallpaper at the moment.

I liked most this but Baltar’s delivery was not that great. Admiral Adama’s delivery was great but his line was crap which of course is not his fault…

I almost died laughing from Sharon’s line. So true.

That was pretty great, but also pretty random, considering NBC owns Sci-Fi. Ah well..strange bedfellows.

Jamie Bamber + His Native Accent = *censored*

I love Sharon’s! And Tigh’s was pretty good.
Of course Roslin was amazing! Like always.
My least favorite had to Starbucks – her line wasn’t that cool and she is still a stupid whore.

But I love how the audience didn’t seem to get most of it…

Nicky – Why all the hate for my girl Starbuck? She rocks my world!

  • By Nicky, March 22, 2008 @ 6:47 pm

Do you actually watch Battlestar? And you LIKE her?!
She is so annoying. She is constantly hurting others just so she can prove her… masculinity. lol. Her toughness I guess.
She helped Lee CHEAT (while she cheated herself) which is his fault too, but he is sexy and she is not, so he is forgiven. Then she betrayed him!
She was a stupid ho, hugging him in the ring with Dualla right there.
Basically, she is just really insensitive and the writers don’t even give her any redeeming qualities. Being tough and good at killing Cylons is not enough in my book.
Oh, and my favorite part of the series was when she got back on Galactica and the woman took her daughter away. hahaha.

Okay people…you DO know that these characters are in a TV show and that they’re actors, right? Edward James Olmos has had a long career as has Mary McDonnell. Jamie Bamber was in a British soap opera and the Hornblower miniseries. The others are all respected stage and TV actors from around the world. And uh…there are no Cylons.

As William Shatner said in a memorable “Saturday Night Live” skit years ago…”Get a life, it’s only a TV show!”

Hey JdEB! Thanks for your informative comment telling us all to get lives! That was really great of you! Be sure to come back real soon! Or you know…don’t.

  • By Nicky, March 24, 2008 @ 8:51 am

lol. I understand what JdEB means… sorta. But only in the sense that some people will be like “OMG I hate Katee Sackhoff! She is such a whore!”
But I’m not someone who confuses the actors for their roles…

And I feel like television writers create characters so that we CAN talk about that as if they were real. Why else would they aim to make characters so well-developed and complex (like in BG)?

JdEB came onto a (self-proclaimed) geek’s website, clicked on a geeky link, watched the geeky clip, then went into the comments just to post to US that WE need a life? Hmm…

That being said, Starbuck had the best delivery, but I think Tigh had the best line.
