My reading time on the train - My train rides in the morning and evening are generally an hour long. Fifty of those well-intentioned minutes are spent sleeping. But those first 10 blissful minutes are spent reading my book. I’m all alone in a sea of other commuters. No one can get to me. No work. No responsibility. No stress. Just me and my book. What a joyous ten minutes those are! And then I pass out.
Little kids who wear glasses - Seriously. Is there anything cuter than a 3 year old in glasses? And OMG did you know there is a whole site dedicated to Babies with Glasses called Babies with Glasses? And OMG look at this entry! It makes me squeal with girlish delight.
Stretching out in bed - While I love my Big Boy Bed, I still sleep on one side of it. I generally don’t take advantage of having a big bed to myself. I should enjoy it while it lasts, correct? Who knows when I’m gonna have some creep intruding in my bed, wanting to share sheets and pillows, and — God forbid — cuddle. Ugh. But there are occasions when I realize I’m in a Big Boy Bed, and I stretch out my arms and legs into the colder depths of the other side. It’s marvelous.
Star Trek: The Next Generation - Thanks in large part to your generous contributions, I bought the Star Trek: The Next Generation - Complete Series DVD Set. I’m currently working my way through Season 1 and loving every minute of it. (And yes, I did put your donations towards server fees first, but there was leftovers! What do you expect from me? To donate the rest to a charity or something? Gosh!)
The combination of chocolate and peanut butter - The Easter Bunny (Hi Mom!) asked me what I wanted in my Easter basket (Yes, I’m 26, and I still get an Easter basket. Shut up, you’re just jealous.) and I told her anything with chocolate and peanut butter. I’m currently happily drowning in all things Reeses. Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, Reeses Peanut Butter Eggs, BIGGER Reeses Peanut Butter Eggs, and something called a Reester Bunny, which is bigger than any peanut butter filled chocolate bunny should be.

I am totally jealous of your Easter basket - this is the first year i *haven’t* gotten one (i will be 27 in october)…but i think it’s because i just got married…which makes me sad - no easter basket from mom and dad. boooooo. so i bought myself some peanut butter eggs. mmmmmmmm peanut butter.

You’re loving Season 1? Hmm, well, okay. Prepare yourself for the crap that will be Season 2. The latter half of Season 3 is where the show really hit it’s stride!
Also, I think this was the second post in as many days that had you “squealing”. Craiggers, you’d best not squeal so much…people might think you’re…well, you know…THAT way.
HUGS….

OMG there is a Reester Bunny, that sounds amazing! I lucked out this year my toddler wasn’t a fan of the Reese’s Easter Eggs, so they are all mine!

*sigh* I love Easter Candy more than any other holiday. The Cadbury Creme Eggs, the little chocolate Cadbury eggs with the candy shell, and of course, anything Reeses.
I avoided most of it this year because, hell, if I can’t fit in my pants now, there is no reason to splurge, but thankfully someone brought in little Reese’s eggs at work, so I got a little nibble.
Now all that stuff has to go away!

You’re right about kids with glasses. i’ve even considered poking my daughter in the eye so i can get her some.

I’m 33, and I still get an Easter basket. And that shit better not ever stop.
March 27th, 2008 at 9:51 am
With chocolate and peanut butter, you have to get the good stuff (Reeses). The cheap stuff tastes like crap. And there’s nothing wrong with cuddling as long as they understand you will kick them away when you’ve had enough.

I love peanut butter in what (might be) an unreasonable way. I’m not a chocolate lover, but I will tolerate it for the sake of peanut butter.
And the Easter Bunny still comes to my house…and hides eggs. And my sisters and I are 27, 25, and 23. But our EB got smart…he fills the eggs with money instead of candy…

I used to be a 3-year-old trapped behind glasses. I didn’t think it was so cute at the time.
And I’m *so* glad I don’t get an Easter basket — I’d eat every Reese’s item in it within mere minutes of getting it.
And my body wouldn’t really like that (especially with summer just around the corner…)

The itty-bitty Reester bunnies are awesome! My husband & I are working our way through quite a bit of Easter Reese’s goodness. There’s nothing wrong with that!

A Reester Bunny? Seriously?
I’m still eating my Purim basket treats.

I am in total agreement with everything… except the kids in glasses thing.
When I see a kid in glasses, it makes me want to punch them in the face and call them ‘four eyes’.

Reese’s eggs? DELICIOUS. Which are only trumped by the marshmallow filled chocolate eggs. If they could take the Resse’s eggs and add marshmallow filling…heaven.
Babies in glasses are ADORABLE. But see Jonathan Lipnicki these days. Not so adorable.

I’m fairly certain the Reese’s Peanut Butter Egg is the food of the Gods.

My parents bought me a ticket to a Jewish cooking class for Easter (which was excellent, of course!). Here’s hoping for the Qu’ran for Christmas!
March 27th, 2008 at 2:25 pm
Oh goodness. Check out Jonathan Lipnicki’s website HERE. I can’t believe he’s 17!
March 27th, 2008 at 2:38 pm
Damn, I didn’t recognize him at all. I had to google his name to see what he used to look like. Majorly different.
March 27th, 2008 at 2:40 pm
OOh, your absolutely adorable!
I squealed with girlish delight when I read this post
March 27th, 2008 at 3:38 pm
I thought he was still younger that that. Makes me feel like an old lady. Not so cute these days…http://jonathanlipnicki.com/images/2007/newyear/newyear001.jpg

Mmmmmm…..Reester bunny.
As far as sleeping on a train, do you ever worry about missing your stop? Because I remember this story about Speonk….
March 27th, 2008 at 7:16 pm
At 30, I still get easter treats. My absolute favorite are Cadbury Creme Eggs. They are exquisitely succulent! You can only buy them in the US around Easter. I used to have my English relations bring some Cadbury Creme Eggs when they visited, for an off-season treat.
March 27th, 2008 at 8:27 pm
Is it wrong that I went to the Lipnicki kid’s website and got somewhat aroused? Geez, he really grew up good, didn’t he????

There is a Hershey store in Niagara Falls on the Canadian side. They have peanut butter cups that weigh in at a full pound.
March 28th, 2008 at 3:28 pm
Ok Craig you have convinced me it is time to embrace my geekness and order STTNG Complete series.

Um…I’m 28 and still get an Easter basket from my parents…
