As you all know, I’m a huge sucker for Jewel. So needless to say I’m super excited about her new album Perfectly Clear coming out on June 2nd. She decided to go all country for this album which I think is really exciting. Here she is performing the first single “Stronger Woman” live at the Grand Ole Opry:

Okay two things: I’m not a fan of Jewel and I’m not a fan of country music (unless it’s classic old-school).
But, damn, those two things work together really really well. You’re making me take notice of this upcoming album. I’ll have to check it out.

I love Jewel. They actually played “Morning Song” in my restaurant this afternoon and I freaked out and sang it aloud.
I was a little bit sad at Goodbye Alice in Wonderland though. I think Pieces of You and 0304 can not be topped.
