Craig is witty
Oh, so witty.
Though I have to admit that I had to look up the song on YouTube to find out how the tune went, since I didn’t know the song. (gotta brush up on my Broadway show knowledge) (or not)
Awesomely hilarious.
VG’s leap into the air is great. As is the “Such a pretty me!” frame. And the Jamie twirl will be forever remembered in the annals of the internet.

Oh
My
GOD!
Craig, you sir, have out done yourself. I snorted at Jamie’s fuente turns/pirouette! Plus, two episodes in one week? You’ll spoil us!
July 9th, 2008 at 7:20 am
Hey, Jamie’s throwing roses in the air. Shouldn’t he be tossing pussy
July 9th, 2008 at 7:21 am
willows?

Three cheers for animated GIFs!
July 9th, 2008 at 7:59 am
Brilliant! Nothing more needs to be said (except now I can’t get that F’ing song out of my head…think I’ll listen to some Gun Club on the ipod to blast out that damn song…)
July 9th, 2008 at 8:26 am
Oh I hate the curse of the earworm. Sometimes when a song gets stuck in there I fear the only way it is going to come out is with a bullet.
July 9th, 2008 at 8:59 am
So will there be a forthcoming Broadway show: The Adventures Of Super Viagra And Vagina Girl!
I can’t wait! I want seats, front row, center!
Dave S.: If we needed any more proof of your being straight, not knowing this song confirms that. No self-respecting gayboy wouldn’t know West Side Story!
HUGS…

Polt: I remember seeing it once back in high school. I think it was when we were studying Romeo and Juliet. It seems to me that they’re reflections of the same story or something? I remember not liking it that much.
I admit to not being big on musicals. I did like Hairspray though. And Moulin Rouge was pretty kick-ass.
July 9th, 2008 at 9:39 am
That is quite possibly the gayest thing this side of Richard Simmons
July 9th, 2008 at 9:49 am
Nick has the line of the day!
July 9th, 2008 at 9:54 am
You realize that with any entertaining storyline as soon as the two rivals actually fall in love, the series goes in the toilet.
July 9th, 2008 at 10:00 am
Bossy is on the floor. Send help.
(To Bossy’s friend Howard: Bossy disagrees — there are so many plot twists available. Hasn’t Howard ever seen a Soap Opera?)
July 9th, 2008 at 10:08 am
Yeah, like what’s going to happen when they find out the other’s alter ego?
Or how is Captain Flaccid going to use this against them?
Or what’ll happen when Valerie finds out Jamie swings both ways?
All sorts of ensuing drama!!
July 9th, 2008 at 10:49 am
Marry me.
July 9th, 2008 at 11:16 am
I was worried how a musical number would go over, but I’m glad everyone seems to like it! I thought I might get some Return of the Jedi Special Edition Jabba’s Palace musical number comparisons. Fshew!
Don’t worry Howard, I’ve still got plenty of stories to tell.
July 9th, 2008 at 11:20 am
Gayest.. episode.. ever. I love it.
July 9th, 2008 at 11:45 am
Brings back memories of the out-of-the-box Buffy the Musical episode or the Taming of the Shrew episode of Moonlighting. A fun, cool little interlude.
July 9th, 2008 at 12:13 pm
The Buffy musical was entertaining, but I preferred the episode after her mother’s death. I thought the lack of incidental music was very effective.
Back to the post at hand, I sure hope Valerie’s back up singers aren’t the Flacettes in disguise (insert foreshadowing music here)….
July 9th, 2008 at 1:06 pm
I liked this edition like everyone else, but I feel like it’s like…. umm…
Ok, like a television show does a short webisode or something. Nah mean?
Like it’s letting us know they are both so thrilled, but no complications arise.
I love the “such a pretty ___” slide!!
July 9th, 2008 at 1:17 pm
That has totally made my day! Loving the Super Viagra/Vagina Girl posts keep ‘em coming!
July 9th, 2008 at 1:54 pm
I hope those aren’t evil bunny slippers.
I love Valerie’s wardrobe.
Is that the black flaccette? ?arla?
Now I’ll be humming West Side Story tunes all day.
Snap. Snap.
July 9th, 2008 at 1:55 pm
Oh yeah -
Too bad all Johnsons can’t twirl like that. *Sigh*
July 9th, 2008 at 2:08 pm
No, the back-up singers aren’t the Flaccettes. So that isn’t the impending black Flaccette unfortunately. I thought about making them the Flacettes, but while this strip is completely random, I still wanted it to fit into the overall story I was telling. So they’re just random friends.
July 9th, 2008 at 2:23 pm
Valerie has friends?!?
(are they hot?…)
July 9th, 2008 at 3:48 pm
I’m on the floor with BOSSY.
Oh how I LOVE Broadway musicals. I was never in this one but hear the revival is a smash.
The twirling “gaaay” is the best!
July 9th, 2008 at 9:11 pm
There’s a revival??? Although I never actually saw the play, just the movie (and I think the words of this song are slightly different in the play).
Thanks for another great strip! I’m wondering if Valerie is going to struggle with her love for two….(people?)
July 9th, 2008 at 10:27 pm
Why does Valerie have bunny slippers when she’s got no feet? Or is this one of those times when I’m not supposed to notice such things and just go with the flow, eh?
HUGS…
July 9th, 2008 at 10:53 pm
That’s a lot of animated nudity.
July 10th, 2008 at 3:50 am
You, sir, are a madman.
But damn if you aren’t a funny little madman.
Really, though, what do you do with your spare time?
July 10th, 2008 at 4:15 am
Best one yet.
July 10th, 2008 at 8:20 pm
I read a paper today about oscillating labia.
