One Incident, Two Stories

On July 18th, winner of the 2008 Bloggie for Best GLBT Weblog, Perez Hilton posted THIS POST about Mischa Barton, cleverly insinuating (without specifically stating) that she was falling down drunk.

On July 21st, PerezRevenge.com posted their version of the story, showing pictures taken at the same time, of her bending down to pet a dog. CHECK IT OUT!

Very interesting! Clearly pictures can be used to tell whatever story you want. I know which story I believe!

PerezHilton should be read for entertainment value only and not anything that has anythign to do with actual facts. Oh, wait, it’s not entertaining either — so I guess there’s no reason to read it.

Personally, I think gossip sites are a waste of time and effort — and the guy that runs PH is nothing more than a guy at his computer trying desperately to maintain his perceived importance.

Okay, that’s kinda harsh, but as a person that writes real news (albeit a completely different topic), I find his type of blogging reprehensible.

And he wins a Bloggie for this crap? Yeah, not good.

I’ve tried reading Perez here and there, but I just ultimately find him boring. He just does the same couple of posts over and over.

I admit that I read Perez, too. And D listed. It’s a sickness. I’m sure I have better things to do. Thank god I read Puntabulous or my brain would probably rot.

I chose which blogs to read based on how badly I want to sleep with the author. That having been said, Perez is at the bottom. And I think the frequency of my visits should tell Craig where he is on the list.

Hey i rather read Dlisted! So much funny, Michael K. Rocks! he makes me laugh every time i read it, plus, he’s meaner, cuter and, uhm… eh… better xD
