This could be used to your advantage. When making reservations for instance – why not Mr. Hanks, table for two?

Dave S.: Try to catch the rest of Primeval, it is a little rough, but it gets really good. The end of season 1 is fantastic and season 2 was pretty good too. I’m looking forward to season 3.

I wonder if items 2-4 have any impact on item 1. With all your TV watching commitments do you have any time to go out on dates? Just wondering.

Now that I started (trying) to blog, I have a new appreciation for all the effort you put into your posts. I find myself writing long posts, deleting them, rewriting, and then tweaking further. I am totally over editing, and my final product may be more strained than refined by that process. I hope it gets easier once I get in the swing of things and find my “blogging voice”.

Dave S., I suppose Skins could be an aquired taste. You missed the first two episodes, which set everything up…I don’t think your points are wrong, but I just find it refreshing to see REAL kids on TV and not the watered-down, or skanked up version we see from American TV. I mean, these kids aren’t rich, they’re not slutty just for the sake of slutty, and they’re not living in a gated community in Southern california. Those type of people I have no desire to see. I enjoy the refreshment of seeing ‘real’ people.

I don’t think either episode you saw was bad…each episode concentrates on a different character, I don’t think they’re meant, really, to stand on their own, i think they’re all part of a larger story arc….

Whatever, to each their own. Enough of my psychoanalyzing everything, the bottom line is I enjoy them. Doesn’t mean everyone has to.

Ryan R.: I still haven’t seen the all of the first season or ANY of the second season,. I had heard they were going with an all new cast…I don’t think it’ll be the same, but that doesn’t mean it won’t be as good.
