Great job! I agree that you make them look more adorable than they are - especially McCain. After that debate last night (and the one before) I would have made him a little more hunched over and angrier. Did you see him shuffle all over the stage last night? I kept yelling at the TV - “Pick up your damn feet!”

Considering that McCain is a good 5-6 inches shorter than Obama, your renderings are far more generous than reality.

I don’t think Obama’s tall enough. Nor are his ears anywhere large enough. But for someone who’s not paying attention to the election and pissed off about it, these are pretty darn good representations.
Oh, and you forgot the field-dressed moose next to Palin.

Woah, woah, woah…not paying attention to the election? I watched both conventions in their entirety and every single debate so far? Are people still confusing my annoyance with politics as indifference? Because I thought I cleared that up already. And besides, who ISN’T annoyed with politics? I regret ever doing that stupid post.
And everyone is the same height in Puntabuland. Except Palin who I made shorter because she’s a woman. And McCain is a few pixels shorter because I took away some of his neck. Oh, and everyone has cankles, you just don’t see them because they’re always wearing pants.

As a holder of a BA in Political Science, and a political junkie since 1980, I’M not annoyed with politics. Annoyance, apathy, who cares, as long as I get to make fun of you for it.
Andhonestly, I really wonder what a Puntabulous moose, field dressed or otherwise, would look like. And it better not look like Bullwinkle!

Sexy Sarah actually came up in my Witch class this morning. My professor was saying how Sarah’s church led a witch-hunt in Africa. As a class that examines witch-hunts and their very harmful effects, we were all pretty much encouraged to like Sexy Sarah even less. And it really IS scary when you realize that witch-hunts are still going on, and that a vice presidential nominee belongs to a church that led one…

Nicky, technically, the Wasilla Church didn’t lead a witch-hunt, but one of it’s pastors got his start in Africa by claiming all the recent auto accidents there were cause by a witch in town. basically, he led the town to run her out of town chased, metaphorically, but a mob. And he used that to start his career.
When Palin was running for governor, he laid hands on her in the Wasilla Church and blessed her and prayed that all sorts of witchcraft would not befall. Which is crazy enough, but the church didn’t really lead the hunt itself.
God….I’ve actually defended Sarah Palin….I feel so….dirty. I need a shower now.

Polt: Yeah, I know, I watched the video.
And him laying his hands on her and saying he wants to protect her against witchcraft isn’t really all that is said.
While he preaches RIGHT before praying over her, he mentions how religion needs to be brought into just about everything, including schools and the media. Meaning he has no respect for separation of church and state which is pretty serious for a lot of people.
And he also says (my favorite part of the sermon) that those who follow Buddha or Muhammad are practicing witchcraft and sorcery. That’s crazy! He says other non-Christians are in school “tongue-talking and devil casting.”
If I was going to be involved in politics, I would NOT get prayed over by a man that just said that. Haha.
I’m not saying that SHE is a lunatic like Mr. Muthee, but I mean, isn’t it a super bad idea to be associated with this man, and then publicly declare that he is part of the reason for her success (we watched that video too)? Obama was involved in a church scandal and he released a statement that put a lot of people at ease. Palin thanked this man at a convention (my teacher played that too) and never said that she doesn’t agree with him, etc.
I’m not saying she is a witch-hunter, but that she didn’t handle this scandal well. I guess it shows her inexperience or something.
But hey, I’m not a Palin basher. I love following her stories about witch hunts and marriage wrecking and listening to her amazing interviews : )
