Oh Christmas Tree – Part 2

December 14, 2008

Okay, so we added the ornaments, and I’m happy to report, that I think it looks just as good as last night. We used to have ordinary bells and balls, but every year my Mom buys us ornaments that represent something that has happened to us during the year, so every year there are less bells and balls, and more unique ornaments. These days, almost every ornament is unique. It’s a tree full of memories.

Wow, filling the Christmas-tree with memories is a beautiful idea. The more I think about it, the more I like it. The tree really looks fab with the ornaments added.

Me and my sister Amanda are sharing an ornament this year. It’s a cruise ship to represent the cruise to Bermuda we went on over the summer.

    The tree looks awesome Craig!

My sister does something similar with her kids. She buys them ornaments every year so that when they move out on their own, they will have ornaments for their own tree.

I also used to have ordinary bells and balls.

Looks great! Better than before. We too have special ornaments for when stuff happens. And we all have an ornament from the year we were born and stuff. My mom actually has a lot of ornaments that we made her in like 2nd grade. They don’t look great…. but it’s great that they’re still around and on the tree each year.

Is it wrong that I want to photoshop the image and put a little picture of you on the top of the tree….? Probably! :)

The tree looks nice. My parents have lots of sentimental orniments going back to the birth of my sister and I. We made lots of orniments in school over the years. My grandmother was involved in her church Christmas fairs, so we also got lots of crafty orniments from there. Sometimes, when I was little, I used to play with them like action figures.

Charles: I hope the surgery went well. Should we call you Charlotte now?

Milo: Not at all. My face is as beautiful as a shining star! :-P

Its beautiful Craig. We always try to buy an ornament when we travel somewhere or if a friend sends me something I try to get an ornament for the tree. Makes a tree full of memories as you said. Hmm, speaking of which, where is my NYC ornament. Must find that tonight.

I love the tree Craig! We too have an artificial tree, and I may or may not have said a few disparaging words when we realized that it was too tall for the new room we just remodeled. Luckily our tree comes in sections so we just left the top part off which worked well ’cause we were able to put the crown tree topper (think the old Imperial butter commercials) on a small silk pillow which makes it look even more regal.

Oh! And Happy Belated Birthday Enrico! I hope you had a great time.
