This was before the Office and before any of the movies. We had tickets to see The Daily Show, and Jon Stewart was off hosting the Emmys or something, so Steve (I feel I can call him Steve now) was hosting instead. Tim and I were grabbing coffee at some deli beforehand and, lo and behold, Stevie was getting coffee from the same deli. To my embarrassment (at the time), Tim told him how he was my absolute favorite one on the show. He was really nice and gratious. When the show was over, Stevie Baby even recognized us in the audience and gave us a wave. Totally cool! I don't even remember Steve Carell in the movie. I saw Anchorman about 2 years ago and don't remember a thing. What I do remember is how often I thought that it is lame. I always thought 'a whale's vagina' would be 'Walvagina' in German, but I'm learning something new every time on these Teach-me-something Tuesdays.
