I thought the BSG episode was disappointing too.

Does Ellen just turn into a drunk the minute she gets around Tigh? And she was mean during the rest of the episode too!

And where is Xena? We haven’t seen her since the white terry cloth robe episode.

I agree that BSG was totally blah last week. One thing I did really like was when Starbuck was grossed out by Saul and Ellen making out–”It’s like watching MY PARENTS…” Foreshadowing to how I am SO RIGHT! (As per my comment on your last BSG post.)

Just watched BSG today. What a load of crud. I was glad for the return of head Six. If that story line does not get tied up neatly, I’m going to be really miffed. It annoyed me so much in the first season and now I’m always wondering where she is…much like head Baltar. Oh, also caught a repeat where Laura has the visions when the baseship jumps away with Alea (sp?? and I think that is her name). Toward the end of the episode, after Laura has learned her lesson and they are wrapping up, she is talking to her outside of a jump. Is she a “head” Alea? Anyway, you are completely correct–I was in love with Ellen for how strong and nuanced the actor’s ability with that character and it was all destroyed by the wishy-washy-ness of it. /sigh I guess we need a “Black Market” in every half season.

Enrico: His name is Enver Gjokaj. He played the mobster? that Ballard attacked in the man’s room in the pilot episode.

Battlestar was disappointing this week. I guess they needed a week to take a breather after the coup attempt and the background information spill to set up the pieces for the endgame: Baltar and his armed group, Boomer’s return, Starbuck and the piano, the blending of Galactica……it’s just too bad it was done in such a meandering way.

RE: BSG – I agree 100%. This was a real disappointing week. Perhaps the writers felt we needed another week to digest the complex Cylon/human history lesson from last week!

I missed my Friday night Supernatural two weeks in a row. Stupid traveling. Sometimes I let BSG continue to play after I finish Supernatural but I don’t really watch, except to occasionally note Canadian actors who’ve been in other shows I’ve watched.
