This reminds me of a game we used to play when I was in my college theater program. For every show, we’d spend hours debating which muppet would play each character if the muppets were performing the show instead of us.
And if Puntabulous commenters were played by muppets, I think Polt would be played by Animal.

I can’t think of any married couples, but the band leader is a guy and the guitar player is a woman, perhaps that works? Kermit and Piggy were the “romantic” couple on the show that I can remember.

I’m not sure Enrico should be under Jere. It might be too much for him.

I love the muppets. Last month I made my Calculus students watch “Pigs in Space” in class. It seemed important and relevant at the time.
This makes me wonder how awesome The Muppets could be in other shows.
The Sopranos and The Wire make for the most comical situations in my mind.
I’ve never heard of Wanda and Wayne, but upon further investigation they are totally cute and need to be Xi_Heather and TwoPi!
