This one time in college, my friend and roommate Sarah called me dapper, as in “Wow, you’re looking dapper today!” It’s a nice word, and gave me a boost of confidence as I walked out the door feeling happy about my outfit. A few days later I was watching The Muppets Take Manhattan and Sarah walks into the living room, takes one look at Miss Piggy on screen and says “Wow, Miss Piggy is looking dapper!” So apparently it’s just a word she uses often.
John: Of course I don’t want you to “di”! I was having issues with keyboard lag time. I hit submit before the whole comment appeared and it came out that way. It was a leftover prob from my restore a few weeks ago. I think I have it licked now.
