I like that the curtains and carpet match on the blonde blow up dolls. No dye jobs…

  • By Tam, April 27, 2009 @ 7:22 am

What’s in her hand in the last frame? Inquiring minds want to know. Can’t wait to see what happens next. I’m hoping for a HEA for SV & VG.

Oh, I’m loving the stuff you do in the dark. That is very cool.

  • By Dave S., April 27, 2009 @ 7:32 am

I love that this is becoming a regular thing!!! Awesome.

Tam: “I’m loving the stuff you do in the dark.” Um, do you and Craig have something you’ve been keeping from us…?

  • By Dave S., April 27, 2009 @ 7:33 am

    Tam: Though I don’t doubt that it’s “very cool”…

  • By Dave S., April 27, 2009 @ 7:43 am

Tam: What the heck is HEA?

  • By Mark, April 27, 2009 @ 7:50 am

“Average citizens are pussies”, Loved it. Loved the whole thing. You’re really keeping me guessing with this one.

  • By bernd, April 27, 2009 @ 7:51 am

Awesome chapter, the plot thickens, one title character makes it’s first appearance, fashionable uniforms, a lesbian general, blow-up-doll-harakiris, full frontal nudity. I want more, more, more, now, now, now.

Isn’t the pentagon full of latex airbags already?

  • By David, April 27, 2009 @ 8:29 am

Ooooh, this is getting REALLY interesting.

Liked the “don’t ask, don’t tell” homage there.

Tam: I believe that’s a computer disk in the hand of the surviving doll.

Dave S.: HEA = Happily Ever After.

  • By Polt, April 27, 2009 @ 8:42 am

I’m wondering what the point is as well, but with lines like “average citizens are pussies” I don’t care that I don’t know. :)

And Tam: I always thought Craiggers did amazing things in the dark, but why oh why didn’t you confirm it for me when you were here??? :)

    HUGS…

  • By Hayden, April 27, 2009 @ 9:01 am

I hate being teased with these! I want to sit down and read the whole thing! I love where this is going!

  • By Dave S., April 27, 2009 @ 9:52 am

David: Happily Ever After — okay, that makes sense. Though Humping Every Ass would work given that those evil blow-up dolls probably each have one… :-P

  • By Dave S., April 27, 2009 @ 9:53 am

Eww… That was gross. My apologies. :-? Jonah: consider me self-reprimanded…

  • By FDot, April 27, 2009 @ 10:47 am

I’m truly enjoying the slow buildup of suspense that these short chapters allow. The mind reels with all sorts of possibilities about where the story could go.

How long does it take to map out and draw one of these chapters?

  • By The Ryan with the Cupcake, April 27, 2009 @ 11:26 am

I love SV and VG. It’s a good thing that the emails have a link directly to the comments section. I wouldn’t be able to come back during work otherwise.

  • By Craig, April 27, 2009 @ 11:37 am

I’m glad people are enjoying the build up! There are less jokes due to the slow storytelling, but I think that will pick up.

FDot: It takes about a day’s work to plan out and draw a chapter. Anywhere between 5-8 hours.

  • By Dave S., April 27, 2009 @ 11:46 am

Craig: That’s a crapload of time! But well worth it to us humble readers. :-) SV & VG just keeps getting better and better.

  • By Enrico, April 27, 2009 @ 12:30 pm

I too thought the dark scenes were really cool. Though they were hard to see since I’m blind… lol.
I love the fact that VG showed up and said she wasn’t partners with SV anymore and didn’t say anything else. Nice buildup.

  • By john, April 27, 2009 @ 1:23 pm

“I would so tap that.” had me snorting! I’m liking the pace of this and don’t find it moving that slowly. The scenes in the dark are really funny, I love the big glowing eyes.

  • By Tam, April 27, 2009 @ 1:28 pm

    Totally off-topic for Craig:

You had recommended the book Hero (which I bought but haven’t finished) and I passed on your rec to my friend Kris (who stopped by here once – werekanga woman) and she reviewed it for a review blog and her own and was raving. She gave it 5 out of 5 stars. Even her Mom liked it and is thinking about buying it for her class (she’s a teacher). :-) So she wanted to go up the chain and thank you for bringing it to my attention then her’s. She’s out there pimping it big time. I believe her line was its fanfuckingtastic.

Oh, no jacket for me today either. YAY!!! Oh wait, today the temp is 86 with the humidity and Wed. will be 55 and rain. Stupid weather.

  • By jerekeys, April 27, 2009 @ 1:31 pm

The smiling doll at the end is creepy. Blow-up dolls aren’t supposed to enjoy… well, anything. And while my dirty mind is pursuing that train of thought, I suppose choking the soldiers to death is a sort of poetic justice for the latex loons.

  • By Tam, April 27, 2009 @ 4:23 pm

Pimping Michelle M’s guest post: Everyone should head over to Polt’s to check out Michelle’s Sound of Polt post. VERY VERY funny with lots of Puntabulous references.

    Looooved Michelle’s guest post!

And glad your friend enjoyed Hero Tam!

  • By Chris D., April 27, 2009 @ 9:21 pm

Great job! The dark scenes are cool (FYI: Anyone on an iPod or iPhone should view this post on a computer to see in the dark). I am looking forward to the next installment.

  • By Michelle M., April 27, 2009 @ 10:06 pm

This was the high point of my day (low point, emergency root canal). Craig, thanks for making me smile (although right now, it’s a drooly lopsided one). Can’t wait to see what happens next.

Thanks for the shout out Tam.

  • By Mel, April 28, 2009 @ 1:49 am

Why do I get the feeling that SV is about to be in big trouble?

  • By Bradford, April 28, 2009 @ 11:04 am

    Nailed it again Craig!

  • By jayjay2, May 16, 2009 @ 12:44 am
