The San Francisco Retreat!

providenceheader2
First The Adirondacks, then Vermont, and then Rhode Island. Tomorrow morning Aaron, Robin and I will be flying out to San Francisco to meet Jenn who’s studying at Berkley! This will be my first time in California (actually this will be my first time west of the Mississippi River) and I’m super excited! I don’t know much about San Francisco outside of what I learned watching Full House and eating Rice-A-Roni, but I suspect we’ll have a great time! I’ll try and Tweet a lot to keep you guys updated, but I’ve also lined up a few guest posts, which you will surely love! See you guys in a few days!

    Funny Puntabulous related dinner conversation:

Me: Craig’s going to San Francisco tomorrow.

Kid: WHAT?!?!?! (said in that panicky confused tone)

Me: Craig is going to San Francisco tomorrow. For vacation. (said slowly since she’d obviously suffered a head injury or something)

Kid: Oh. I thought you said “Craig’s coming to your school tomorrow.”

    Me: Would that be bad?

Kid: No, but I couldn’t figure out why he’d want to do that.

    Me: You are so odd.

So Craig, if SF is too boring, head on up here and visit the middle school. :-)

    DUCK Season!

Cupcake: (tee hee, best nickname EVAR!). Monkeys in you? That sounds uncomfortable. Are they of the dancing variety?

I’m lucky, I’ve only got the music in me.

Tam: Oh I *hated* Tweety, he was way to cocky for his own good.

john: Anything that I said today that doesn’t make sense is probably an Invader Zim quote.

  4. Tam: I could see the young’un panicing if I were coming to her school, but she’s met Craiggers. I’d think she’d be honored he was coming all that way just to go to her school. :)

    WABBIT season.

And I never much liked Tweety either. *Sufferin’ Sucotash*

    HUGS…

  5. Have a great trip! I have never been to CA either. I was thinking of going in July, but I just don’t think I have the energy to go the way I would have gone (being on tour with a performer involves too much stress and running around) this summer. Let us know how you like it. Maybe I will go next summer. Be well, and be safe.

DUCK, oh forget it you win. However, I will add: “! Haha! Guard! Turn! Parry! Dodge! Spin! Ha! Thrust!”

Cupcake: Oh, I know, I just couldn’t resist a comment about the monkeys as we are all Craig’s dancing monkeys.

That was cute, Cupcake. So should we start calling Craig “Mr. Wonderful”?

Michelle M.: Perhaps we should. But only if he posts video of himself dancing with us into oblivion.

I just got back from Star Trek. It was great!
