1. I’m really excited about The Princess and the Frog. It’s not even that it looks particularly great (although it is getting good reviews), it’s just that I’m excited about the return of traditional animation. Don’t get me wrong, CG animation is great, but there’s just something special about traditional animation and unfortunately Disney let a few clunkers like Atlantis and Home on the Range deter them from it.
2. So the Glee fall finale was on last night and it was awesome. I am now addicted to their version of My Life Would Suck Without You. The idea of fall finales drive me crazy though. Why can’t networks just run full seasons like they used to? (Oh goodness, did I just talk about the good old days? I’m getting old.) Or at least switch all shows to the 24/Lost method of running full seasons nonstop during a half season of time.
3. I have no idea why people still insist on faxing stuff, but I’m glad Dilbert agrees with me:

4. I am positively obsessed with the Rat on the Run iPhone app. I play it pretty much every opportunity I can get. The best part is the Rat on a Scooter subgame, and it turns out they just released an entire Rat on a Scooter XL game. My life is now complete.
5. I didn’t realize that a sex scene on Buffy the Vampire Slayer was the first lesbian sex scene on network television. That’s pretty cool! Seems like science fiction has a way of pushing the envelope for television. Kirk/Uhura kiss, anyone?
6. Some serious shiznit is going down (LOL) on Babylon 5. I watched Point of No Return last night which the creator J. Michael Straczynski cites as a major turning point in the series. I love that he wrote pretty much every single episode himself. It really lends itself to an amazing continuity, though after taking such a long break between seasons 2 and 3, I find myself a little lost at times, but I still enjoy it nonetheless. And I’m still trying to figure out how the movies fit into all this. Can I watch the series first and then all the movies after? Or do I have to watch them in between particular seasons?

1. I love traditional animation. It’s much more artistic and draws you into the fantasy more.
2. Gotta check out Glee.
3. When my Grandparents died (one month apart) in 1993, they still had a rotary phone from the 60′s. It weighed a Ton!
4. When Iphone comes to Verizon, on their superior network, I might check it out. Can You Hear Me Now?
5. The only thing grosser than M on W sex is W on W!
6. I got nothing!
Oh, realized after the fact that I was going to point out that the long season thing is a pretty American approach. Standard Brit TV series/season is six episodes.
Plus, we’re just catching up on the current season of Heroes and I only just realized when Hiro went back to save Charlie that she’s played by Jayma Mays. Love her, jealous she’s so skinny.
1. I don’t know much about it, but it reminds me of a moderately groovy Peter Gabriel song Kiss That Frog ( http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x64nyl_kiss-that-frog-peter-gabriel_music (Beware: the video makes me a little dizzy)).
2. No comment.
3. I agree about the lameness of FAX machines. Unfortunately we still need one in my office because we sometimes get POs and contracts FAXed to us even though most of that happens via e-mail now. Thankfully, my job does not involve any FAXing.
4. I still have not tried ANY iPhone games. I am afraid of the amount of time I will loose if I get sucked into an addictive game. I used to really enjoy Tetris .
5. I was never a big fan of lesbian sex. Good thing I am not a lesbian.
6. No comment.
Chris D.: At the after prom party in high school, one of the girls in my class went around to all the guys whether they were turned on by lesbian sex. I was the only guy to say no.
Don’t be hatin’ on the lesbian sex; grrls gotta have fun too!
