I’m so glad that I stopped watching that show.

Also, I think it would be funnier if Matt were making those faces on the toilet.

So, if you were to film a parody version with Puntabulonians, who would play which part?

  4. The Ryan with the Cupcake on January 22, 2010 at 6:22 pm

Mel: I think Enrico and Josh should be Hiro and Ando. They make the best duo.

Hey, wait a minute. That reminds me; wasn’t Craiggers thinking about handing out Commenter Awards a while ago? Did I miss the awards ceremony? Was… was I not invited? Wow, this is awkward… I had a gown picked out and everything. :’-(

OK, I haven’t watched this show since Hiro popped up in Japan’s past with Sark from Alias after meeting a blonde girl with pony-tails and some black girl met Uhura and because she could do karate kicks and Ali Larter suddenly was playing the third sister because the other two were dead. And it looks just as confusing and fucked-up as ever before.

This is brilliant. And exactly why I stopped watching the show.
Love the pickle jar and Samuel’s dual powers (too bad he can’t do something about his chipped nail polish). And Gretchen would make me jump out a window, too (despite not being able to regenerate).
Are pages 4-6 and 23-29 the deaf lady playing the cello and looking at sounds?

Mel: If were filming a “Puntabulonian” version, I call Sylar … or at least any other moderately super evil character that happens to be on the show (I stopped watching midway through season 2 because it was just so horrendous.)

Heroes is a show I have resisted watching from the beginning. When it started I was already watching the 4400 and I didn’t see any point in watching two of the same idea.

I usually resist watching shows at the beginning, then get sucked in later, then buy the DVD set and devour the entire thing end-to-end. I enjoy watching shows all in one gulp like that: it’s more fun. LOST is the most recent show I resisted-and-then-broke-down-and-became-an-addict-of. In the fall of ’08, the SciFi channel started running reruns, I caught a couple and was like “wow, this show really IS amazing” and at the time ABC had all the episodes for free online in HD so I watched the entire first 4 seasons end to end and became obsessed. I found Season 5 pretty disappointing though, when it came on, except for the season finale: I can’t wait for the last season to start next month!!!! YAY!!!!

Which allows me a slight digression into the topic of Craig’s previous post. I have so far been utterly frustrated in finding a LOST buddy to watch the show with: Lisa, the “Grace” to my “Will”, can’t watch shaky-cameara / aka “queasycam” cuz it makes her motion sick. Other folks won’t watch it cuz with 5 seasons to catch up on, they think it’s too much of an “investment”. I actually would have loved to re-watch the entire first 5 seasons again in preparation for season 6, but I don’t think I’ll bother doing that alone.

At least I’ll have twitter-friends to compare notes with this time when LOST comes back on.

But back to Heroes. Since I haven’t watched the show, I couldn’t get EVERY joke of yours in the fullest, Craig, but your scripts are hilarious. And tbh I’m not sure whether they make me want to watch the show LESS or MORE. I’m almost tempted to watch it just to see how bad it is :-)

I’ve never watched the show but just for a chance to see an “extra Asiany” dance it might be worth tuning in. Well done.

When comes the part where Hayden Planetarium tells all her boyfriend to get a <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZFm6aJuoS70"wake up call?!

I stopped watching about the same time as Kari describes. Still, I’m pretty sure in your version, the series would be better. More interesting at least.

Actually, I have no idea which would be better cause after you talked about Ando wacky Asian boner, I zoned out to my happy place for a few moments and never finished reading the rest.

    HUGS…

  14. Polt on January 23, 2010 at 12:13 pm

Should I ever be in a rock band (playing lead French Horn, duh), I want the band to be called Ando’s wacky Asian boner!!!

    HUGS…

  15. Justin on January 23, 2010 at 1:02 pm

    Polt – isn’t that “durrhh”?

And how many bands can we have? We’ve already got the famous “Sock Puppetry with Penis” band, aka “Guy Argyle And The Puntabuperves”!!

  16. Tam on January 23, 2010 at 1:11 pm

Remember when Hayden Pantytrainer was all young and innocent and playing bitchy figure skaters? Oh right, that’s when she was hanging in the the clubs with Paris Hilton and sucking on the Malboros. Before she started sleeping with old dudes. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

  17. Justin on January 23, 2010 at 1:45 pm

“before … started sleeping with old dudes. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.” *whew* you had me scared there for a minute! ;-)

    Jay — it’s a deal :-)

And people are always so surprised when I tell them I no longer watch TV.
