About Me

My name is Craig and this is my blog. It’s called Puntabulous. I was originally going to use a lot of puns in my writing, but quickly realized that was the worst idea ever. So now this is just your average humor blog with a wacky title and minimal use of puns. I’m a 28 year old living at home with my parents on Long Island. I lived in Brooklyn for a year, but hated it, so I moved back home to save money. I went to S.U.N.Y. Binghamton for undergrad and received a Bachelor of Arts in Geology with a concentration in Biology. I wanted to be a paleontologist, but things never work out the way you plan them. I went to Dowling College for my MBA in General Management. Now I work at a Construction and Engineering Firm in New York City.

I wear my watch on my right hand even though I’m right handed. Apparently that’s a no-no. I almost exclusively read Star Wars novels. I think Amanda Bynes is way cooler than Lindsay Lohan, Hillary Duff, and Miley Cyrus combined. It’s my dream to one day ride an ostrich. How awesome would that be? I aspire to write children’s novels. My irrational fears include swimming in a pool by myself for fear of being attacked by a shark and being sent to prison.

DUDE! You’re freaking awesome. I looove Amanda Bynes, Lindsay Lohan and Hillary Duff are evil.

I absolutely love the sneak peak of your life…and your wife Natalie Portman. Those pictures are awesome, you cracked me right up.

And WTF is with no sex scenes in Star Wars novels? Does he think that readers don’t know how babies are made? Cause I guarantee they do…

Anyway, just wanted to tell you how super-awesome-cool you are!

i work with antonio (booo he’s moving to texas) and he got me hooked on your blog. regularly, i think blogs are dumb (my old roommate had one and i tried to read it – it was horrible…like a steamy romance novel gone bad). you definitely keep me entertained at work!! :-)

if you’re in the market for another tv show marathon candidate, may I suggest BBC’s League of Gentlemen?

Man, I love reading the Star Wars books too! Unfortuantely they don’t sell very many of them here where I live, but when I get out I always try to pick one up!

Amanda Bynes is the best, the best thing that’s she’s done in the last couple of times, is HAIRSPRAY!!! She’s awesome in it. Heck, the entire cast is awesome. I’ve seen it twice and am going again this week to see it.

I SO want to ride an ostrich. A lot.

  • By The General, October 24, 2007 @ 2:45 pm

I’ve been luck enough to ride an ostrich. I was one of the highlights of my life. See.

“You know when you’re walking on a sidewalk, past a driveway out of a shopping center? And the car waves for you to walk in front of them? What are the chances they just want you to walk in front of their car so they can run you over?”
I thought I was the only person with this fear! You really are awesome!

  • By Nicole, November 22, 2007 @ 1:44 am

    Haha. I love it.

Sites like these that tell almost too much about a single person are definitely the most interesting.

  • By Richard, November 25, 2007 @ 11:21 pm

Found you by reading Dan Renzi’s site, whom I found reading a memo from my old job corporate offices that he wrote (about a WIlliams Sonoma experience). He , as you know, is in the gaybloggies and I went there to vote for him… but found you , and have been reading and voting for you ever since.(him too, but…) I am a new fan and a new guy/gay to blogging.. not so much gay, and neutered and not living the life i want, but doing the right thing… i guess. thats the theme of my blog. when i have a gay existence again, i shall write about it. this is such a run on sentence/paragraph. but i wanted to say hi, and i like you blog.. hope someday you’ll browse through mine.

Wow, I thought I was the only one that feared swimming alone in pools because of sharks! The worst is when part of the pool cover is still on the surface. They hide under the cover you know…

  • By Mini, November 30, 2007 @ 3:32 pm

OMG! I totally am right there with you on #4.
But it is much more likely when swimming in a pool alone that you will be drowned by a giant octopus.
    Just keepin’ it real.

    You are my Hero.

I just found this from the Gay Bloggies, and I read all of your posts. (I would have commented on those, but I thought it would have been odd for you to get random comments on some of your first posts).

    I love this site.

I’m glad someone else was just as pissed about the missing jedi sex scene as I was. I’ve had a crush on Jacen since 5th grade and if he wasn’t going to come and sweep me off my feet I sure as hell expected to read about him boinking his one and a half armed girlfriend. Sigh.

  • By John Michael, December 9, 2007 @ 1:08 pm

I’m with you on the irrational pool fear…except for me, it’s more like my pool is Crystal Lake, and Jason Voorhees is going to come and kill me with a machete. I was a sad little child.

Also, I’ve often thought of jedi sex. Give me Cade Skywalker any day!!

  • By Emmalee, December 12, 2007 @ 3:10 am

Wow, I just read your About Me section, and decided I need to have your babies. Then I found out that you don’t like the ladies.

Fair enough. I will still read the blog.

  • By Jerry, December 17, 2007 @ 7:53 am

Craig, next time you need to shit at school, take a book in with you, keep your eyes on the reading material, wipe from the rear, give a few courtesy flushes along the way, and you will blend right in, nobody will even notice you.

  • By Jon, January 4, 2008 @ 8:01 pm

Craig, I just wanted to let you know that your blog is my favorite of all blogs and it really bums me out that you got 3rd place in the gay bloggies. Boo!I also wanted to say thanks for adding gaycondo to your blogroll! You are the very first link to our page! Ever!
Keep on being the funniest gay nerd out there.
PS: If you are looking for any debaters for your site, I would be totally jazzed to do it.

  • By Jeff, January 9, 2008 @ 1:23 pm

I also wear my watch on my right hand and I am right handed. Everyone thinks I am weird, but obviously not the only one who does that.

  • By Geeba, March 23, 2008 @ 9:48 pm

God, you are such a dork! I stumbled on your site while looking for images of Jason Statham who was in the move The Bank Job which my partner and I saw last night. Anyhow, cute site. Anyhow, nice site. Thought you’d appreciate this guy: http://geebamonkey.blogspot.com/2008/02/freestyle-walking.html. Also, you might enjoy the part-human/part-rabbit sculpture photos on my main page. Geeba, Portland, OR

  • By Nicky, June 10, 2008 @ 10:48 pm

Hahahaha… putting the crotch shot in your About Me section.
Very misleading Craig. Those don’t appear often.

  • By Lynette, June 28, 2008 @ 10:02 pm

OMG when I do wear a watch (bracelet or sweatband in tennis) I also wear it on my right hand and since I’m a righty, I’ve been corrected, but uh, who really cares? What diff does it make? LOL
