BOOKS 9
I’m currently reading the Star Wars: Legacy of the Force series. It tells of the downfall of Jacen Solo, the son of Han and Leia Solo. I highly recommend these books for any Star Wars fans who need a quick read for commuting or vacations.
I’m up to: Star Wars: Legacy of the Force - Invincible
The previous books of the series are:
Betrayal (Star Wars: Legacy of the Force, Book One)
Bloodlines (Star Wars: Legacy of the Force, Book Two)
Tempest (Star Wars: Legacy of the Force, Book Three)
Exile (Star Wars: Legacy of the Force, Book Four)
Sacrifice (Star Wars: Legacy of the Force, Book Five)
Inferno (Star Wars: Legacy of the Force, Book Six)
Fury (Star Wars: Legacy of the Force, Book Seven)
Revelation (Star Wars: Legacy of the Force, Book Eight)
There’s also the New Jedi Order series which is incredible. Start with Vector Prime (Star Wars: The New Jedi Order, Book 1) and then keep going and going and going.
I’m also a huge Michael Crichton fan. I love Jurassic Park and The Lost World but I think my favorite is Sphere. Unfortunately State of Fear sucked, and I heard Next was even worse.
And who doesn’t love Bridget Jones’s Diary and Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason?
This boxed set of The Chronicles of Narnia made me squeal with delight when I saw it in the store. I was shopping for a friend’s birthday who’s party I was going to in like fifteen minutes, but I had to have it. So I bought it and had to drag it around the city with me for the rest of the night. Totally worth it though. It’s a beautiful boxed set. Prince Caspian is my favorite.
I thought Dune was really depressing. I’m sure I’ll read the others in the series at some point. But I saw the Children of Dune Sci-Fi miniseries, which was great, but it appears as though the books don’t get any less depressing. Speaking of, the soundtrack to the Children of Dune miniseries was fantastic. They use it all the time in movie trailers.
The Planets is the only non-fiction book I’ve read since a college textbook. Not that I read those much either. It was great though.
