Oh wait, no, it’s some new game on Adult Swim called Lee-Lee’s Quest that only bears a strong resemblance to everyone’s favorite sexually deviant superhero. Thanks to everyone who pointed this out to me. I went and posted about the resemblance on the Lee-Lee’s Quest message board. We’ll see what kind of response I get. Probably something along the lines of DIE NEWBIE!

Sorry for the serious lack of posts this week. Having lots of fun with the family in town, including the annual family booze cruise which was a blast. And any time not spent with the family is spent watching Game of Thrones. Seriously, what a great show! I have two more episodes left. Haven’t even had a chance to watch Torchwood yet!

1. I finished the first season of Popular the other night. Apart from some random bits of genius, I’m unimpressed. It suffers a lot of the same pitfalls as Glee, such as the inconsistent characters and in-your-face themes. The teacher is really going to start their sex change in the middle of the school year? Not wait till the summer? Heck, not even wait for the weekend?

2. Next I think I’ll start watching Fringe. I watched the first few episodes back when it first started, but gave up before long. Now I hear it’s one of the best shows on television so I’m gonna give it another shot.

3. But first I’m gonna watch the second season of Teen Titans cause I’m awesome like that.

4. Season 4 of True Blood starts Sunday! Now that I have HBO, I’m able to watch it live along with everyone else! We’ll do it live! Frak it! Do it live!

5. I’m also recording all the reruns of Game of Thrones so I can watch that as well. I’ve heard great things!

6. I saw X-Men: First Class. Not only was this my most anticipated summer movie (okay, and maybe Harry Potter) since it’s by the same guy who did my favorite movies Stardust and Kick-Ass, but all the amazing reviews made me walk in with my expectations through the roof. It didn’t exactly meet my expectations (I don’t think anything could) but it was still really really good. I think I need to see it again so I can chill out, relax and enjoy it this time around.

7. I also saw Super 8, which was really great as well. A wonderful throwback to 80′s kid’s movies which I loved. The ending could have had a bit more oomph, but other than that, it was wonderful.

8. We got my Dad an iPad for Father’s Day (and his birthday). Now both parents have one. I’m pretty sure they just sit there in silence on their iPads now. Hey, it’s better than yelling at each other!

9. I bought the Babylon 5: Legions of Fire trilogy on ebay the other day. I don’t know why but I keep thinking about that amazing show lately and I’m excited to read this trilogy which I’ve heard good things about.

10. Nothing in the world compares to coming home to my own place. I bet it’s even better than that sex thing I hear all the kids talking about. Or children! God yes, it’s totally better than children!
